Ethyl-Alcohol Production

Out of concern over the possibility of oil shortages
and falling prices of sugar cane in the future, His
Majesty the King instructed in 1985, the study on the
cost of producing alcohol from sugar cane for use as
an alternative source of energy. Fuel production
experimentation was then started, of which the
implementation was initially financed from His
Majesty’s private funds.

To produce alcohol, molasses, waste from sugar production, is fermented with yeast for 48 hours, and 10% ethyl-alcohol is the output. The output can then be condensed to produce 95% ethyl-alcohol. 95% ethyl-alcohol can be used to produce many products such as solid alcohol for warming food, waterless hand gel, perfume, massage oil and transparent soap.
