Organic Fertiliser Plant

The Organic Fertiliser Plant carries out studies on the
process of producing compost from various agricultural
wastes, in particular the study of the activators for
decomposition.

To produce the fertiliser, materials such as dried grasses and other organic
wastes are layered 1-2 meters wide and 2-3 meters long, approximately, and then compressed. Dung and urea fertiliser are sprayed on top of the layer. After that, a solution of decomposition micro-organisms is sprayed on top. Repeat all steps until the height of the mixture reaches about 1.5 meters. Stir the mixture every week and water it when it gets dry to help the decomposition process.

The mixture has to be completely decomposed before it can be used as
fertiliser. The colour must be a dark brown and be odorless. The temperature
must decrease to normal. The humidity must be less than 30%. Lastly, strain
non-decomposed particles off the fertiliser.
