Suan Dusit Milk Powder Plant

In 1969, having perceived the surplus in the fresh milk
market, His Majesty the King decided to study the possibility of turning raw milk into powdered milk for long-term storage. So, Thailand’s first powdered milk factory, all designed and constructed by Thais, was established and was conferred the name “Suan Dusit
Milk Powder Plant” by His Majesty.

In the production, first, raw milk that passed quality control is evaporated
to reduce the amount of water. Condensed milk is then sprayed into a spray
dry machine to produce powered milk.
