The prime objective of THE SAI JAI THAI FOUNDATION is to alleviate
the existing problems and to promote the quality of life for the victims
who devoted them selves in protecting Thailand from the unrest activities.
Prosthetic replacement is one of the great demanding facility for the disabled
victims.
Due to the high cost and unavailabity of the standard components in
Thailand for providing the prostheses particulraly the artificial foot,
the attempt was then made to furnish the local fabricates foot with the
essential principles of safety, availability, functional and economic.
Under the well collaboration and courtesy of he international committee
of The Red Cross, The VA and The involved NGO in Cambodia, the new modification
of the artificial foot was then developed by THE SAI JAI THAI FOUNDATION,
The Prostheses Foundation by H.R.H. THE PRINCESS MOTHER and The Siam Rubber
company.
The new SAI JAI THAI foot will weight about 600 gms. with solid ankle
cushion heel effect by elaborating the process of making the kee land curing
of the rubber. All the materials are readily available in Thailand with
reasonably low price at cost, the foot will be supplied for the limb fitting
units in Thailand with probably upon request for the other agents.
